The cover is from "Phylogenetic relationships and biogeography of the ancient genus Onychorhynchus (Aves: Onychorhynchidae) suggest cryptic Amazonian diversity" by Reyes et al. Onychorhynchus coronatus is a widespread Neotropical lowland forest tyrant flycatcher with allopatric populations in the southern Atlantic Forest, Amazonia, central America, Tumbesia and extreme northwestern South America. Illustrations of the six independently evolving lineages in the O. coronatus complex were made by Francy Tamayo, a wildlife illustrator from Colombia.
